In order to build on the momentum, we are looking for a (Senior) HR Director (m/f/d).

The (Senior) HR Director (m/f/d) will lead all aspects of the people function in a dynamic, entrepreneurial and PE-backed environment. As a member of the leadership team, s/he will be responsible for all strategic and operational HR aspects, and particularly the implementation of the Company’s talent strategy. S/he will lead a team of 3 HR professionals.

 

Key responsibilities:

HR Strategy & Leadership:

  • Drive strategic HR initiatives aligned with our corporate vision and long-term goals
  • Bridge the gap between leadership and teams: You’ll be a key connector between top management and operational levels, translating strategy into action
  • Act as a sparring partner to both the HR team and the executive leadership — providing guidance, feedback and strategic input
  • Support change and transformation processes through modern approaches to organizational development and change management
  • Lead and develop the HR team into a future-ready, proactive, and business-oriented unit and support it in day-to-day HR operational and strategic topics, such as Operations & Compliance, Talent Acquisition & Recruiting, Talent Development & Performance
Talent Strategy & Continuous Improvement:
  • Partner closely with the CEO and other leaders to ensure HR practices align with business goals and support value creation initiatives
  • Identify and implement best practices for an efficient HR set up and drive continuous improvement of the HR function (incl. HR tools, coaching, and resources) to enable a high-performing organization
  • Challenge and optimize existing HR processes to increase efficiency, agility and employee engagement
  • Support the Company’s “high performing team” transformation journey, including collaborating closely with the executive team to shape and drive cultural and other change initiatives
Talent Management & Performance Management:
  • Manage all employee lifecycle processes with a focus on operational excellence, consistency and compliance
  • Drive structured talent & performance management, including feedback processes, performance reviews, promotions and succession planning
HR Budget & Controlling:
  • Oversee and manage the HR budget and personnel controlling and ensure efficient resource allocation, cost transparency, and data-driven decision-making

 

What we are looking for:

Relevant Background & Experiences:
  • Experience owning or co-owning the HR function in a company of 100-500 employees, ideally in private equity/VC-backed, or other fast-paced, results-focused environments
  • Exposure to international multi-site operations and distributed teams
  • Ideally, experienced in luxury, consumer products and/or retail
  • Hands-on experience across core HR disciplines (employee relations, compliance, performance management, compensation, budget, recruiting, etc.) and a solid understanding and expertise of German labor law, payroll processes and HR compliance
  • Experience with building or rebuilding HR infrastructure, policies and processes in changing environments (e.g. to accommodate growth)
  • Experience leading a small HR team of similar size
  • Fluent in German and English
